The ATB site was designed and built in compliance with the technical requirements laid down in Annex A to Ministerial Decree July 8, 2005 (updated by the Ministerial Decree of 20 March 2013) Implementation of the Law 4/2004 "Provisions to support the access of disabled persons IT tools. " The Italian law is in line with the recommendations of compliance WCAG 2.0 Level AA W3C.
Periodically the site is tested through the use of automated tools for validation:
· W3C Markup Validation Service for HTML validation
· Color Contrast Analyzer for tests on color contrast
The pages of the website were developed with the XHTML markup language and are presented through the use of style sheets (CSS3). The portal is responsive, and can also be accessed by different devices, such as tablets and smartphones.
The expansion and improvement of services and cancellation of all the technological and cognitive barriers will require ongoing commitment and sustained activity over time.
The accessibility of a web site in fact does not end with the placement of a sticker on the home page, but it is a complex and dynamic process, and the results so far achieved is to be considered just a "starting point."
Suggestions, proposals, reports to improve the new portal can be sent to sitoweb@atb.bergamo.it
